Cricket Finland is delighted to announce the successful completion of the ICC Level 1 Coaching Course, delivered from Saturday, 17 January 2026 to Sunday, 18 January 2026 at the Eerikkilä Sport & Outdoor Resort.
This course brought together aspiring cricket coaches from across Finland for an intensive and rewarding weekend of learning and practical development. Participants engaged in ICC‑aligned modules designed to strengthen coaching standards at the grassroots, club, and youth levels.
Led by Experienced ICC Coach Tutors
The course was led by our qualified coach tutors, Richard Savage and Maija Scamans, who ensured a high‑quality learning environment throughout the program.
Their guidance helped participants gain confidence in:
- Planning and delivering effective training sessions
- Coaching core cricket skills
- Understanding player development pathways
- Creating safe and inclusive coaching settings
- Applying technical and tactical knowledge in real match situations
Congratulations to All Newly Certified Coaches
Cricket Finland warmly congratulates all participants who successfully completed their assessments and earned their ICC Level 1 Coaching Certification.
These new coaches will be instrumental in expanding opportunities for players and supporting the continued development of cricket across the country.
Supporting Long-Term Coaching Growth
The completion of this course marks another significant milestone in Cricket Finland’s ongoing work to enhance coaching pathways and to support clubs with skilled, educated leaders.
